Since Bamboo is a recent result of Appriss Health’s acquisition of PatientPing, we haven’t had time to move all of our content to one website. For this specific content, we’re sending you to one of our other sites.
We looked to nature for inspiration as we established our vision. A symbol of strength, flexibility, and health—bamboo captures the essence of everything we aspire to be.
For us, bamboo is many things, but four traits come to mind: far-reaching, fast-growing, nourishing, and resilient. And those four traits combine to make bamboo wholly unique, even in the vast diversity of nature. Those same traits describe our company’s ability to adapt and expand quickly to support a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
We have customers in 50 states. We’ve grown from a few people to a few hundred. We enable payer-provider collaboration and better whole person care. And we’ve remained a leader in the space.
That’s why our name is Bamboo Health. And that’s why we continue to cultivate care collaboration—giving everyone the opportunity to thrive.
We’re happy to have you here!
CEO Rob Cohen shares the future vision for Bamboo Health. In short, our plan is to transform whole person care. We are committed to tackling the problem of incomplete patient data that has historically plagued all providers across the care continuum. Because we have formed such broad networks of providers across geographies, we can provide the preeminent public health care coordination solution.
Appriss Health was a part of Appriss (formerly VINE), which was founded in 1994 in Louisville with a simple belief: technology can do a lot of good in society. Over time, Appriss Health grew from a few employees to a few hundred, starting with prescription drug monitoring efforts and later expanding into broader behavioral health. The company continues to provide the platform for 43 prescription drug monitoring programs (PDMPs) and connect 52 of the 54 U.S. PDMPs, approximately one million clinicians, more than 25,000 pharmacies, and thousands of hospitals.
PatientPing was founded in 2013 in Boston with a clear mission: to connect providers through technology to seamlessly coordinate patient medical care, resulting in reduced costs and better treatment plans. PatientPing has thrived since its inception. At the time of the acquisition, the company served more than 43,000,000 patients, 37 health plans, 7,800 post-acute facilities, and 1,100 hospitals.
