The North Carolina Department of Information Technology (NCDIT) issued a press release about two of its agencies winning State Government IT awards by the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO).
One of these awards was presented in the Business Process Innovations category with the submission titled When Minutes Mattered: Automated COVID-19 Reporting System Saved Hospitals’ Time & Reduced Administrative Burden.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services implemented Critical Resource Tracker solution, built on the OpenBeds® platform, to direct life-saving resources to the hardest-hit hospitals in NC. The Critical Resource Tracker, which was developed by Bamboo Health, provides patients real-time data reporting and an immediate inventory of available beds, vital equipment and trained clinicians.
