Starting January 1, 2023, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Global and Professional Direct Contracting (GPDC) Model is getting a new name and look. CMS is replacing GPDC with the redesigned ACO Realizing Equity, Access, and Community Health (REACH) Model, intended to improve care coordination and outcomes for Medicare patients, especially those in underserved areas.
