Getting the right care at the right time can make all the difference in your health and wellbeing, and we know how challenging it can be to navigate today’s health system. You may have received a call, text, or message from a Bamboo Health care navigator. Your doctor, health system or insurance plan has partnered with us to help patients like you get connected to the best next step in care for services like a follow up appointment with your primary care provider, counseling, therapy, psychiatry, mental health services, substance use support and other care.

What Service Does Bamboo Health Provide Patients?

We provide care coordination support, a free service that helps you navigate the process of finding and connecting with appropriate behavioral and physical health providers. We know that finding the right support can feel overwhelming, so we do the legwork for you. 

Here’s what that looks like in practice: 

  • We listen to what you’re experiencing and what kind of support might be helpful 
  • We connect you back to your primary care provider if you’ve recently visited the hospital 
  • We help identify behavioral health providers who are a good fit for you 
  • We help schedule appointments and remove barriers that make it hard to follow through 
  • We check in to make sure you were able to connect with the care you need 
  • We securely process your information following HIPAA compliance with our industry-leading, HITRUST-certified processes, and we never sell or share your data

Is There a Cost?

No. This service is completely free to you. It is offered as part of your existing relationship with your doctor, health system, or insurance plan.
