Appriss Health Rebrands as Bamboo Health Following PatientPing Acquisition – Behavioral Health Business

Behavioral Health Business talked to Rob Cohen about Appriss Health’s announcement of its new company name – Bamboo Health – following the acquisition of PatientPing earlier this year. Cohen is president of Bamboo Health.

Here is some of what Cohen told Behavioral Health Business:

“We really wanted to represent who we were as an organization in a new way. If you look at the histories of the two companies, both tackle really valuable and challenging issues, and both do a really good job at it. But what we wanted to represent was the more expansive vision, mission and capabilities of the organization.”

“We are singularly focused on changing the potential for whole person care into a reality,” he said. “People still talk about behavioral health and physical health separately, and … we’ve got to break that down. … The only way to impact healthcare in America is to treat the whole person in all care settings and among all care teams, and so those care teams.”
