Rob Cohen

Rob Cohen is senior advisor at Bamboo Health. He previously served as the company’s chief executive officer from May 2021-Feb. 2023. Before then, he was president and general manager of one of Bamboo Health’s legacy companies, Appriss Health, from 2016-2021. Cohen led the transformation of Appriss, which saw rapid growth in its products and personnel.

Cohen brings more than 20 years of healthcare and technology experience to his role with a career spanning multiple leadership positions at Evolent Health, McKinsey & Company, Anthem and Healthways.

Prior to Bamboo Health, Cohen served as the Market President of Tennessee for Evolent Health, a leading health IT and population health provider, where he was responsible for the operations, growth and profitability of regional relationships.

His healthcare and technology experience span not only operations and business development, but also customer relationship management, product marketing and corporate strategy. It is with this diverse skill set that Cohen has led Bamboo Health to new heights.

In his time with the company, Cohen has been the driving force behind remarkable growth in the prescription drug monitoring and behavioral health spaces and played a key role in the acquisitions of OpenBeds and PatientPing.

Rob Cohen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Computer and Information Technology from the Moore School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
